Lisa Van Goor joins WWC Events with almost a decade of special event management as the Director of Special Events and External Groups for the University of Colorado and its non-profit organization, the CU Foundation. Her resume includes the successful planning of a wide range of events including large-scale fundraisers and luncheons, recognition banquets, golf tournaments, and donor cultivation events, small to large. In her role with the University she worked closely with several alumni, donor, and fan-based constituent groups to develop programs and events that helped bolster the University and the Athletic Department’s prominence in the community. Amongst her most successful events include the annual CU Ski Team fundraiser, the Ski Ball and the annual Preview Luncheon, which draws over 1,200 participants annually and raised over $150,000 for student athlete scholarships.
